Kaiserslautern
Rathaus
Wurde 1968 fertig gestellt. Mit 24 Stockwerken und einer Höhe von 84 Metern ist dies eines der höchsten Rathäuser der Bundesrepublik.

The City Hall
84 meters high, is one of the most prominent of the city´s landmarks. An extensive panoramic view of the city as far as the Palatinate Forest can be had from the roof terrace.
Spinnrädl
Um 1740 erbaut, ist dies eines der ältesten noch erhaltenen Gebäude.

The historical hostelry "Zum Spinnrädl" (The Spinning Wheel), built in 1740, ist the only remaining half-timbered building in the city
Pfalzgalerie
(Landesgewerbeanstalt). Wurde zwischen 1875 und 1880 im Neo-Renaissance-Stil erbaut, und beherrbergt heute bedeutende Kunstsammlungen.

The Palatinate Gallery of Art
The gallery on Museum Spare was built in 1875-1880. The neo-Renaissance building, originally meant as a trades museum, now houses the most important collection of paintings in the Palatinate.
Stiftskirche
Sie ist die bedeutendste gothische Hallenkirche Südwestdeutschlands. Baubeginn des Chores um 1260, der des übrigen Gebäudes Ende des 13. Jahrhunderts.

The Collegiate Church
Considered the most significant late Gothic hall church in south-western Germany, now a Protestant parish church. The choir was begun in the second half of the 13th century.
Fruchthalle
Sie wurde 1843-1846 nach dem Vorbild des Palazzo Medici in Florenz im Renaissance-Stil erbaut. Im Revolutionsjahr 1849 war sie Sitz der pfälzischen Revolutionsregierung.

Barbarossa-Burg
1152 ordnet Kaiser Friedrich I. (Barbarossa) den Bau einer Kaiserpfalz zu Lautern an. 1158 weilt er mehrere Wochen dort.

The Imperial Palace
It was built from 1152 onwards at the instigation of Frederick I, known als Barbarossa

St.Martins-Kirche
Erbaut zu Beginn des 14. Jahrhunderts. Es ist eine alte "Bettelordenskirche" der Barfüßermönche. Heute katholische Pfarrkirche.
